Data Fix Ticket

Occasionally, data needs to be corrected in AWCTS through a database change due to: erroneous information that poses a patient safety risk or PII/PHI violation, updating dropdown values to align with current business needs, or fixing data attributed to a system bug. All data fix requests will be reviewed and approved by DCS CIO and please be aware that not all data can be modified.

NOTE:  Information, such as name and rank, imported from authoritative sources (ITAPDB, MODS, CHCS, etc...) cannot be modified in AWCTS.  This information must be corrected at the source. Please contact your local S1 shop for assistance with these types of issues.

This type of request is typically done through a supervisor or CTP Management Analyst.

Submit a request

Subject: Data Fix - [short description]

Description:

  • The specific data field and screen that shows incorrect data
  • The existing value (what is in the system now)
  • The desired value (what should be in the system)

Module: Identify the Module (ADMIN, AW2, OMB, Soldier, WSFH, or WTU)

Attachments: Only needed for large-scale requests


WARNING

The support system (Zendesk) is NOT HIPAA COMPLIANT!

  • DO NOT INCLUDE: grid exports, screenshots, or reports containing PHI/PII (redacted items are okay)

Sending the above items may result in HIPAA violations.  All violations are reportable and may result in suspension of your AWCTS account.  If the Support Desk requires these items, they will correspond with you via .mil encrypted email.
